Because FRIENDS can buy many needed items in quantity, and sometimes at a special discount because of our nonprofit status, a monetary donation is always welcome. However, there are many other items that are needed at the shelter. Please click on the link above to see a list of the items needed.

Volunteering at AACACC

Become a Volunteer

 

If you volunteer at Anne Arundel County Animal Care & Control, you will do real, meaningful work that truly makes a difference — and you’ll also get quite an education. Plus one of the best parts of all? You get to pet lots and lots of dogs and cats!

Fostering at AACACC

Become a Foster

 

If you are approved to foster for Animal Care & Control, you will receive education and support from its network of fosters and shelter staff. FRIENDS will provide some of the food and supplies you will need and also access to a veterinarian if needed.
